Foundations FTF Development emerged to cater specifically to the design/build needs of the young childrens care industry. As such, it located its first Childrens campus in Kennesaw, GA. A 4.5 acre tract of land was transformed from pine trees and broken down shacks to a wonderful and secure place for children to learn and grow.
The Foundations FTF developmental philosophy for building child friendly environments was based upon defining a wish list of needs for the children, then transforming that into an intuitively designed community of buildings. Requirements included natural lighting, private spaces, security control but with entrance simplicity, teacher work space, a 2 to 1 ratio of play space to classrooms, dynamic floor plan, extra clean-air circulation, complete kitchens to facilitate family style dining, water play facilities and more. All building designs are copyrighted 2004.
