The childcare industry exploded during the 1980’s from a home based business to an institutionalized system of care. Current facilities dealt successfully with basic children’s needs however they were not utilizing modern research’s proven techniques for improving the learning and retention processes in young children.

Foundations for the Future entered the childcare industry specifically to become the new standard setter in the industry and raise the bar for “acceptable” care. Coining the phrase “AQ” or Abilities Quotient – the school adds another level or developmental project work to their already premium care. This specialized exposure to new concepts such as modeling clay, music, sports and balance training, working with light etc. develops a child’s AQ – his ability to understand and adapt new ideas and concepts – for the rest of his life. By the time children enter kindergarten more than 80% of their thought patterns are already set in stone, thus, working with the very young brings the most benefit long term.

Three areas of concentration: the children and their curriculum based upon the six developmental segments of natural growth; the parents and their emotional comfort with outside the home care plus their parental education:; and the teachers with an emphasis on bringing in trained/degreed teaching experts to actually lead the learning process along with basic care.
All areas of the Foundations FTF school are purposeful. Visit the copyrighted Homelifetm rooms, expansive out door covered areas and sand/ water park, lobby under water, the gymnasium next door or enjoy extra learning in one of many extra-curricular classes such as ballet, karate, Musik Garten piano and singing lessons, PEEP emotional training, sign language, and on and on. A place full of rich exciting experiences that feels safe and promotes exploration by every child. The Foundations school is 2 years into its quest to set new standards and has already received local and national attention from industry experts.
